Patricia Schaeffer provides consulting services to employers with a specific emphasis on EEO and affirmative action regulatory affairs. She writes extensively on affirmative action and EEO regulatory developments for DCI’s blog at www. ofccp.blogspot.com.

Ms. Schaeffer is also the Executive Director for The Center for Corporate Equality, a national nonprofit association dedicated to promoting affirmative action, equal employment regulatory compliance and other human resource management strategies to create diverse organizations free from workplace bias.

Previously Ms. Schaeffer was a vice president with ORC Worldwide, an international human resources management consulting firm, where was the practice leader for their Diversity/EEO/Employment Law group. In this capacity, she was responsible for employer network groups in the U.S. and U.K. and worked closely with senior diversity and affirmative action/EEO leaders and employment counsel from large corporations.

Prior to joining ORC, Ms. Schaeffer was Corporate Director of Regulatory Compliance with The Boeing Company in Seattle and an in-house employment lawyer with McDonnell Douglas Corporation in Los Angeles.

Ms. Schaeffer has a J.D. degree from Southwestern University School of Law and a M.A. degree from The Peter F. Drucker Graduate School at Claremont Graduate University. She also holds a B.S. in Social Sciences from Bowling Green State University. Ms. Schaeffer is a member of the State Bar of California.
